Stop Seeking Safety
Start Summoning Sovereignty
Most women don’t realize they’ve been taught to worship safety like it’s salvation.
But safety, as it’s often sold in the wellness world, is a leash—not liberation.
You’ve been told:
“Regulate first. Then speak.”
“Find safety. Then act.”
“Heal enough. Then lead.”
But what if your power isn’t hiding inside safety?
What if it’s waiting for you to step beyond it?
🖤 The Myth of Safety: A Nervous System Lie
We hear it everywhere: “Your nervous system needs to feel safe first.”
And yes, nervous system attunement matters. Deeply.
But there’s a difference between honoring your capacity… and outsourcing your courage.
Most of us aren’t dysregulated.
We’re spiritually sedated by the idea that safety is the goal.
But safety was never meant to be a throne.
It was meant to be a bridge—one you walk across, not kneel beneath.
🔥 My Story: The Day I Stopped Asking for Permission
There was a moment I’ll never forget.
I was sitting at my altar, candles burning low, sobbing because I had so much truth in my chest…
…but I didn’t feel “regulated enough” to speak it.
So I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Until something inside me screamed:
“You’re not dysregulated. You’re DONE WAITING.”
That day, I made a decision:
I would stop using safety as a metric for movement.
I would let my body tremble, my voice shake, my hands sweat—and I would do it anyway.
Because my truth wasn’t waiting for me to feel good.
It was waiting for me to feel real.
🪬 The Truth: Safety Can Be a Cage
When we make safety the prerequisite, we unconsciously teach ourselves:
Don’t speak unless you’re calm.
Don’t lead unless you’re certain.
Don’t move unless you’re stable.
But if you’re here to break cycles, birth new timelines, and embody your archetypal truth… then you need to know this:
Sovereignty doesn’t feel safe.
It feels holy.
It feels electric.
It feels like coming home in the middle of a storm.
🕯 Ritual: Summon Your Sovereignty
Here’s a practice for those moments when safety feels out of reach but your soul is screaming for movement:
🩸 Threshold Ritual: “I Move Without Permission”
Light a candle.
Write a list of all the things you’ve told yourself you need before you can move:
(“I need to feel safe.” “I need a sign.” “I need to feel confident.”)Read them out loud and then burn the list (safely).
Place your hand over your heart and whisper:
“I don’t need to feel ready. I need to feel real. I move because I’m called.”
Now go do the thing—shaky, messy, wild—just do it.
🖤 Final Word: Choose Sovereignty Anyway
You weren’t meant to wait for the world to feel safe.
You were meant to become the world’s interruption.
So the next time your nervous system trembles, don’t silence it. Don’t pacify it.
Praise it.
That’s the sound of your power remembering itself.
That’s the sound of a woman no longer asking for permission.
